Growing up in West Michigan has exposed me to the many different stones that can be found near Lake Michian. My love of Petoskey stones started at a young age when I found my first Petoskey stone. I had seen Petoskey stones in the many shops all throughout West Michigan, but I wanted to polish my own Petoskey Stone. It wasn’t very long before I was an avid rock hunter. I had Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends giving me unpolished stones that had sat in their basements for years. Soon I was polishing stones, making jewelry, and selling to local shops and online.
